No Mod would say that your belief is not true! They may say that your belief may not necessarily be true; but that you may believe whatever you wish to believe. But they would, indeed, tell you that something does not exist; if it does not exist! Like mermaids! If you say that you "believe" in mermaids, that would be okay. But if you say that you are a mermaid, or that your friend is one,or that you have actually seen one; then the Mod will dismiss you as "Fluffy".
