You don't vanquish them.. you either kill/slay them, which brings evil closer to good, or you banish them..

Isn't to vanquish a demon the same as banishing?

Yeah exactly,some demons are physical and will hurt so riding of them from the physical plane to wherever they go after that is how to kill or Vanquish,when I say vanquish it just means kill to me,f there is another term sorry lol.

There's this whole 'art' of demonology, which is the act of identifying and banishing demons. It's really interesting. It is actually a Christian thing, but never trust a Catholic who calls himself an exorcist! They will try to banish anything, even if it's just a squirrel having fun in a bush or something. Haha,I'm one of those witch who demons come looking for,ever since I rid a few of teir kind with my sister and cousin,they find us a threat i guess.
