Hmm hate is your problem. Not all Dark mages feel hate so dont compare us to you. Most people do dark magick out of spite and revenge. I do it because it bests suits my personality of destruction. I also do a little light for I do like to help people
I practice the darker sides of magick.. not traditionally as in, I dont hurt people but I work with demons a lot and with darker creatures and dark energies.
I do not feel hatred. I do not feel rage. I feel anger and I am passionate about what I believe to be right. But beyond short outbursts i dont feel hatred or rage. I have eliminated those.
Not everyone feels the same way or practices magick for the same reasons. It's twice now you've tried to apply your feelings to others. (other time- "dont you ever get sick of yourself? we do" )

Indeed. I however feel hate, a burning desire to see her stripped of her account. I want her to be broken down, and I want her to understand that she cannot do these things and expect people to jsut sit there and take it.

Would you just stand there and let someone physically beat you to death, or watch as someone is, no. You would fight back, and that is what is happening here. Someone has watched an attack and reacted to it.
As far as being selfish goes, the first thingyou need to learn after control is to be selfish. You have to look after yourself first, then your family, and then those who care for you. Without this order you would find yourself warn out and weak. You do what you can, when you can and always with permission of the person you are doing it for, the deities or a general vote.
