Yes, they are. You could wholeheartedly believe that a giant meteor is coming towards the planet and stock up on food and provisions, but then the day you expect it to hit come, and nothing happens. There, an example of how truth is absolute. The belief that the meteor would hit simply wasn't true, and therefore isn't truth. (Obviously). Look at Y2K, millions thought that disasters all related to electronics and such would occur at the New Year. It was truth to them, but it still hasn't happened. This means it is untrue, and is therefore worthless.

Yeah,
okay I see what your saying but,
still no matter how "worthless" or untrue someone's beliefs are,
they are still that person's belief,
and everyone has a different belief that they put faith into,
and it would be pointless trying to set everyone straight,
so you should respect other people's beliefs,
even though they aren't true,
and may not match your own,
but your right about the truth being absolute.

As much as that is repeated, it still makes little sense to me. So waht if they put faith into it? That in no way makes it worth anything to anybody other then individuals sharing the same idea or themselves. The point behind making sure everybody understands the truth about the world is so we could develop and move forward and make informaed decisions off of the correct information, uninhibited by any unnecessary belief systems. You can respect beliefs if you want, but it doesn't really matter if you disrespect them also. It would only matter to those who feel empathetic towards the offended, and that varies quite a bit depending on who is offended.

So what if you put faith into something,
"that in no way makes it worth anything to anybody other then individuals sharing the same idea",
even if its true,
people chose only to see and hear what they want,
people can respect beliefs if they want,
if its true,
or if its not.

There is a difference between faith and belief. Belief is something that you know or assume to be truth. Faith is rather blind, and requires no evidence. You can see how the word doesn't quite match. I udnerstand what you're trying to say, but I think another word would fit best. But yes, you are correct. it is people's choice to respect or disrespect whatever they please.

Well, there is nothing in such logic to see, as I have just pointed out. I believe that there is no definite divine creator of the universe, and if there is they certainly haven't outlined what is and isn't expected, so it's their fault if we piss them off. That being said, what should we do? Instead of mindlessly following things, we do what is best for our emotional and physical comfort and growth. Basically, if you feel guilty, settle it. If you feel anxious, go do what you need. Because we have emotions such as empathy or sympathy, we can always help others. If it makes you feel good to help others, do so, it's a bonus. After all, we are the ones who feel these things, it matters to us only and we can't perform our best unless we feel our best. I do come here to learn, and to make sure it's truth being taught instead of fantasies, I go through and sort it out.

I will call this tragedy where no one is wrong.. yet we can still say no one is right.. or vice and versa.
