Can it be possible for one to be able to use chi to elevate my abilities to perform magic.

I would suggest looking into Mystical Daoism and Religious Daoism to learn more about that. Daoism historically has had a ton of magic in its religion and is where the concept of Chi originates from. You could also look up the concept in Chan Buddhism (Zen Buddhism) since it has Daoism mixed into it.
