Multiple emails?

Within the past two days I've received 4 emails about passwords from here. Is this a glitch in the system or something? I want to make sure this is normal and not me being overly cautious.

That sounds odd. When you say you received e-mails about passwords what exactly did they say? Were they asking you for your password?

No, 3 of themwhere password reminders and one of them was a username and password reminder if some sort. When I registered to the site I already received and deleted my verification emails.

Sounds rather suspicious to me. I'd recommend keeping the messages in your "Default" e-mail folder and contacting the Site Administrator, Petrarca, for him to check into it.

It sounds like someone was trying to access your account if you where getting multiple password reminder emails. You should chsnge your passwords if it continues. Just for safe measures!
