How to..?

I have resin incense, but I bought it in chunks. How can I break it into small enough pieces to burn at once, without having to take a hammer to it on the counter and possibly stain/dent the counter or end up with chips of it all over the room?

I've tried just cutting it with a knife but it tends to just take little shavings...

Also, cleaning resin off things...?

Best to get your self a pestle and morter for grinding resins. The cleaning it off things i'm not sure lol just lots of soa and water.

Or if you have one at home, use a coffee grinder.

Well, that will work for the smaller chunks (I have a mortar and pestle) but the dragons blood incense comes in rather large pieces..

washing powder is good for all stains on surfaces as well as clothes, also good for stuck on food. However you could always put the blocks in food bags and smash with a rolling pin.
