Do Goetic fellows possess

Well. I have seen that Sitri is a great Goetic fellow, and he even removes the lower demons from me if I get possessed by one, and Sitri has been teaching me a lot of things...

But has there ever been any case of a person getting possessed by Goetic demons? I never heard. When I get possessed, its always some lower demon, and then Sitri does remove that demon from me. But people keep saying that the Goetic demons (which are higher demons) want to hurt people. But I believe that most Goetic demons are nice if the person is nice to them...

But I have really great experiences from Sitri... He's a prince indeed... ;3

I don't think they do possess, if they did no human would be inside. If the demon had possessed someone, within 24 hours the human would no longer be themselves.

The Goetia is a method to evoke goetic spirits, using that method with circle and triangle etc. prevents one form being possessed.

I don't believe in possession, I don't believe a spirit can possess a person. I believe in mental illness and understand that possession was a misunderstanding of mental illness. Even the Catholic church will admit this.

Okay, I see... But since I have a polytheistic view on spirituality, that in my opinion, all deities and all kinds of spirits and spiritual methods, rituals, etc. exist, yes from all mythologies, pantheons, religions, etc. So I would think that shielding would be great.

But soon I will receive my Goetia book... I ordered one last friday.

I am eclectic, meaning I believe in all different type of pantheons. I believe in the Greek Norse (rokkr asir and Vanir) and wicca.

I see... I guess I am eclectic too... But I kind of worship the darkness... Satan/Enki, Lucifer, etc. And I work with Sitri... I know that I am eclectic and polytheistic, but I wonder if I am a theistic Satanist, because I just do work with them... And I feel like the darkness is the appropriate one for me...

I wouldn't call the goetia dark, many of them are just demonised pagan gods. For example Baal was a caanite god, Astaroth is Astarte.

Which book did you order? There are some terrible editions out there!

"Possession" is highly misunderstood. It's more channeling than anything. It so happens to be more prevalent in those "mentally ill" because truly what is considered "abnormal psychology" is just what is not the majority of thought processes and behavior. Since the mental faculties of the individual is not the same, they tend to be more internally focused and therefore more open to mediumship. Because of their usual inability to control their own external reactions, they are perfect conduits for the mind of a spirit that wishes to influence the individual. Mediums or those that practice "horsing" learn how to relinquish that control at will, which is why it is far more controlled. They know how to both welcome channeled energy and cut it off. With those that are in control of their external reaction on a normal basis aka mentally "well", the experience will wear off as the person's natural mental defenses kick in. So the "possession" is temporary and remedies itself. In those that are not mentally "well" and cannot control said external reactions, the "possession" can become continuous, not because the same spirit is "in control" but because they are an open conduit for every energy around them both intelligent and not. I have a personal theory that this is exactly what schizophrenia really is.

I feel I must add this is my own opinion based off of other peoples opinions and experiences as well as my (albeit relatively small) experience with the goetia.
