I'm new but not unaware of the presence of magic in the universe. I've always wanted to start practicing but have learned that its much more than just doing spells... So before I just jump in and start casting away not I have been working on nothing but focusing on meditation and gathering energy and more info, ESP getting in touch with my inner self. I have kids and its hard hard to find the quiet that I desperately need so I can meditate in peace...my life is chaos...
Hello,
About the meditation, I think you can try to practice when they are in the school or you can try to use some headphones to reduce the noise around you. As I heard here in SoM, 'some' peoples practice magic with their sons around, I don't know about this, or rules, and how much experience you should have. Maybe you should teach your kids to meditate too.
Thanks...only one problem tho... One's a baby and the other's a toddler, I don't think they're quite old enough to under stand yet...let alone sitting still long enough to meditate. Ha ha! :-) sorry I didn't specify that they were still babies...
Thank you and I appreciate all the suggestions that everyone has given me... I'm a very busy mom and finding time is hard, but I've committed to doing this so every little bit of advise helps.
I believe you will find a good time for practice, I do not have the same experience you (no kids) and I can't say much about, but you will find a balance between your schedules. Blessed be
I've read some more introductory posts and I've decided to post a little more about myself than just why I'm here.

Growing up my background religion is Christian Baptist... Out of all my family I'm kind the odd ball that never really fit in. Up until my adulthood I've always
worked and done most things on my own as a loner... As much as I like to do things on my own I do admit that now I cherish the company of others. I feel it brings a sense of warmth and unity that being alone just doesn't do.
