Sorry! I had a hard time with writing it on my phone. Can someone on chaos magick? I would like someone to teach me. I've read about it. I'm eclectic pagan witch (well not yet). And Voodooist. I also asked my friend can I be pagan and practice it and she said yes. But the problem is, I went to a religious Christian school and I'm scared. Even though I'm pagan. So I'm trying to be as pagan as possible.
Madhatter, religion is not a necessity for using magic. You can -- and should -- follow whichever you choose. If you want to continue as a Christian, then by all means do so! If you choose to believe in one of the multitudinous pagan religions, that is completely HP to you. Don't let fear hold you back from experiencing life!
As far as magic, what tradition or method you follow is also up to you. Chaos magic is interesting. Some people treat it very differently than others. Chaotes will draw from many very different sources, combining ideas. Some people never get beyond sigils and law of attraction type stuff, and many dabblers treat it as an attempt to attract more money into their lives. Others take it much farther, and take it also as an opportunity to study many different magic traditions and mythologies.
But really, just follow whichever tradition seems right to you. There's nothing wrong with changing at any time.
chaos magic is such a brash terminology, treat it with a bit of respect call it anarchy magic if anything
each and every single human being on the face of the earth is an anarchist because of our own free will and most don't realise it
we have laws of men which we can say no to
with your christian upbringing you can even say no to the laws of god (thou shalt not steal... but what if you're starving to death and steal a loaf of bread?)
working in this area allows you to see the bigger picture of the dichotomy that is good and evil
speaking from experience the path can seem lonely at times as the path you walk is ultimately your own
sometimes path cross so its a good idea to never cross anyone else
