i understand magick can not change your hairstyle or turn you into a dog. the way i see it.. it just increases the probability certain events will happen.
What i do not understand is by how much and what its limits are.
Like what if i spend $5000 and candles and oils and materials. gather a circle of 20 witches and cast 1 spell.
How much more potent is that compared to a spell made by 1 person and 2 candles?
What are the limits to a spells potency and its effect on the world?
Yeah the more people you have putting energy into it, it'll be stronger but it won't make you a god or anything like that. lol It would make the spell stronger and maybe increase the odds a lot more but spending 5000$ and gathering all those people just to try to get results seems like a waste of money. You still wouldn't be able to make the impossible possible, no matter how much money you spend or people you have invovled with it.
If you just spent $5000 on candles, oils, incence and other materials, then all you did was spend a bunch of money and get a lot of things. You'd have your own stock and you wouldn't have to worry about getting materials unless they're the kind you can't usually buy, such as snakeskin. The only way this particular aspect will influence your casting is by you subconsciously knowing that you spent a lot of money on the materials, so the materials mean more to you. You already have a subconscious connection with the materials because of this, and if you recognize this during a spell, whether it's just you or you and twenty witches, you can use it to your advantage.
If you get a bunch of witches together who all know how to raise and direct energy, you will be able to raise a fairly massive amount of energy if you were to have 20 at once. Because of that, there will be more energy put into the spell then you alone could put into it. You get what you put into magic.
What I said applies for all spells, be them spells to incite love, to attract wealth, or to bring about healing among others. Spending money won't make you learn any faster, you need to spend your time and devote yourself a little to studying and then you will begin learning. You'll only learn as fast as you let yourself.
