Hey guys i have a opinion to say, I think we should create something like council members but not in a coven but on the site so only those people can only post spells every time, and not put fluffy spells, because these fluffy spells are making the new people to the craft even more fluffier and are falling for it, then they believe that it actually works when it doesnt. Just my opinion.
The issue with that would be that if someone were to add a spell, and it was denied, that would make people angry and complain about it to the admins, mods, or on the forums.
I know I'm new here. And this is just a thought. But if someone wants to add a fluffy spell. Ask them for proof? Video of said transformation. Or whatever. After the video was reviewed. Checked for cg enhancement. Or tampering in general. If they can prove it works. Why not add it. But if they couldn't. Then no. Sorry to but in.
good in theory, would need a bit more tweaking though. with the exception of spellcasters people who prove they know what they're doing can post spells. spellcasters is usually the first coven people join, and you're automatically a council member meaning 'post to your hearts content! even if it's untested! even if you saw it on Charmed! we don't care!' not everyone is like that mind, but that's the major reason for all the non-working spells. i wish they would do something about spellcasters, like the new members need to fill out a quiz, if they pass they're council, if not they're just a member, then after a month they can re-test or something. still flawed i know, but it's something.
i think editors can fix stuff, but it's all up to the admin, and there's like, what, 5? and there's about 1000 fluffy spells. not good odds. all you can do is vote them down and flag them. after that, it's a waiting game. i still say a warning should be placed on the top like 'this spell has been flagged, it probably a false spell' or something like that.
