There is always a CAUSE for a headache. People always seem to ignore that.
Stress and anxiety!
Tension headaches give neck pain and stiffness, and pain around the temples and/or forehead. If you like over the counter medication, try a tension headache specific medicine to rule this out. If it doesn't work skip the rest of this paragraph and read on.
If it does work, consider drinking peppermint tea with raw honey on a regular basis, as long as you don't have acid reflux problems. Rubbing diluted peppermint oil on your temples also helps ease everything from migraines and cluster headaches to the lesser enemy, the tension headache. Try meditation. Rub your ears from tip to top for 2min, pull on them gently as you do this. Take hot relaxing baths once a night before going to sleep. Chillax! You're over stressed! Lol
Possible physical reasons for headaches.
One of the most common reasons is dehydration. Drinking more water and increasing the potassium foods in our diet on a regular basis would be the cure. Dehydration is the same reason why we have hangovers. That's why bananas smoothies are a hangover cure!
Another possible problem is magnesium deficiency. This is the second most common reason for chronic headaches. There are tons of good magnesium filled foods we can add into our diets, even just a handful of nuts and a salad!
Headaches are a way for our bodies to tell us that it is not in balance.
Another fool proof way to rule out defiencies is to add a good multi vitamin along with drinking more water.
If none of the above work, go see a doctor please. As I said, headache is a sign of the body being out of balance, and if the above does not remedy your pain, that could also mean its a symptom of a more serious condition.
I did a spell for that once (it didn't go the way i planned so i took it as a failed spell) I did a spell to take an ear ache, and i used the words "This pain i have within my head, i now burn it away" and ohh it felt like it was burning when it left :D but then i went to sleep and i woke up, it was gone, the infection however was not, and it also came back at me and gave me tonsillitis the next morning, and it was sooo painful, i couldn't eat. If it were me, i would just stick it out.
By the power of Appolus(appolo)
Let this pain be taken away from my head(draw a head on a piece of paper, after the chant burn it with a white candle, the chant should be done at night, say the chant three times)
SO MOTE IT BE!
If you're looking towards complementary(alternative) therapies, You might be interested in bach flower remedies or tinctures.
Meditation helps with headaches, along with incense such as star anise or lavender. Dehydration, as stated is also a huge factor. If you drink caffeine you may want to replace them with herbal teas instead, just as peppermint or chamomile. They help much better in the long run ;).
I agree with Whiterav3n people think pills are the way to go but I think that's rubbish I never take pills for anything if you eat healthy taking your 5 a day stop eating processed food and keep fit you will feel 10 times more better..... P.S meds in my opinion cover the problem not cure it all the human body needs is in the right foods!
