When your grandma takes you for walks in the woods
and one walk she tells you that people are going to
treat you differently and you're not going to know
why, you know it's going to be a wild ride. She knew
she was dieing before the doctors did. She said she
couldn't be help me, but I'd be fine. Even before the
walk, I and the other kids knew I was different,
always talking to birds and animals. Listening to the
wind. Her mother, my great grandmother, had passed
before her, I made the skies black that day, they
shouldn't have made fun of my funeral clothes at recess.
Yes, my mother had me go to school and then right to
great grandmother's funeral, she was a biker babe, wild.
