Hi my name is Maddy and for the longest time I have always dreamed of being a wolf when I was younger my grandpa would tell me wonderful stories of the wild I thought he was crazy like everyone told me but he told me something I would never forget... Never touch the old roots of the birch tree well being a kid I wanted to know which tree he never told me till I was 6 and I loved going for long walks alone in the bush it seems to calm me down well I was walking the same path I have for 3 years and something was different I kept going but there was a tree in the middle of my path it was old and hollow I tried to go around but it kept calling me I tried going back the other way but instantly I felt something right behind me I turned around and there was a pure black wolf with silver eyes staring at me I tried to back away it looked at me and I wasn't scared I stood there for 5 minutes then finally I put my hand out to pet it and instead of it letting me pet it, it desides to trip me and I hit my head off the old hollow tree touching its roots and I black out the next minute I wake up I'm surrounded by wolf pups I thought maybe it excepted me into the pack but when the black wolf comes back with my grandpa I got worried I asked him wants going on he said to the black wolf did she touch the tree the wolf said yes alpha and I said wait they can't talk but he just growled that but I can't speak wolf then I yelled what is going on and this beautiful white wolf walks over to me and said you better get some rest and I say why she looks at me and said you've had a long day and you need to rest she lied down beside me and she was so soft I couldn't help but fall asleep the next time I wake up I'm in my room at my house I thought I had a dream but when I look out my window there's the black wolf watching me so I get up run to my grandpa's and say what's going on and he says you are a wolf you were always born a wolf no matter where you go it will follow you I said but why he said you were given a gift in time I will show you how to use it everywhere you go I will be with you but 2 weeks after that conversation my grandpa died I was so upset I ran to the woods and I didn't come back till night fall a just sat at the spot the tree showed up and stayed there and till this day I could never leave those woods and I still walk the tail every day I wonder if I'll see the wolves again maybe when the time is right!!
