Background:
Howdy, I've been a novice witch for about 5 years, and now I think I'm ready to start getting into the meat of things. I come here, mostly because this is a place that I feel is accepting of my alternative veiws regarding my spirituality..
Like many witches, I was raised in a Christian home. We never stayed with one church for very long though. I was able to see just how different, yet the same, the churches were. I gathered bits and pieces of their faiths along my way. I always felt like I was missing something though.
Then, a friend taught me about being a witch. I had found another missing piece of my spirituality puzzle. In secret, I've continued to use very small spells like the magical properties of foods and colors.
I seem to have some slight affinity for kitchen magic, as well as having used the properties for color magic for some time now. I also have a strong attraction to weather. I believe I have accedentally used this kind of magic in the past.
I am either simply seeing things, (and going crazy) or every now and again I am having visions. When I feel especially depressed, I see flashes of either two other parts of my timeline, or two other realities all together. It's like my mind is literally regecting my reality. I might look into either psychic boosting practices or perhaps psychic reducing practices. I either wanna control this, or be rid of it.
