I originally found magick, because I wanted to get back with a guy. Cliche, I know. At the time I was desperate and was willing to try anything, so I studied for months and months, before even attempting a spell and before long I got my ex back and we've been better than we were, before.
However, now, it's no longer about a guy. I find myself fascinated with the powers of the universe and find myself continuing to studying it, even though I no longer needed it for the original purpose that drove me to start learning about it. I would still consider myself a beginner when it comes to spell casting and magick, but I'm glad that the knowledge I have learnt this past year has been able to help a lot of people. I get messaged a fair bit from people asking me to help them with their love problems, and the majority have wrote me back telling me how much I helped them and that the spells I recommended to them have worked. That alone makes me so happy that I found magick.
I have found hoodoo the most interesting out of all the types of magick I have studied and have continued to pursue studying it and learning as much as I can about it. What I like the most about it is that it's designed for people who don't have that much money and can use things that are easily available to them. With most hoodoo spells, the items I need for the spells I can easily find in my kitchen or a local grocery store. I also like that hoodoo is not a harsh kind of magick. For example, with a honey jar, a lot of people say it messes with free will, but what a lot of people aren't aware of, is that it only works if the person already has some feelings for you. If there is no feelings, what-so-ever, it won't work, therefore it doesn't force someone to love a person they don't originally love. It takes existing feelings and enhances that, as well as making the person sweeter.
My opinion on messing with free will with magick is that I'm perfectly ok with it. Simply because magick is not the only thing that messes with free will. Fate can mess with free will, if fate has a different plan for you than you want. Simple things like wanting to go across the street and someone stopping you by pulling you back on the curb, because there's a car coming messes with free will. Wanting to have chinese for dinner and the place you normally go to is closed, that messes with free will. Anything can mess with your free will, not just magick, which is why I'm more open minded when it comes to that. And if everyone is happy afterwards, where's the foul? I see none. If someone was truly unhappy, I'd reverse it, but with the situation with me and my boyfriend, for example, we have a much better relationship now, because of a honey jar spell. We communicate better, we're more open with each other, we are more willing to do what the other wants to do, we don't fight as much as we used to and we're both extremely happy people. He's even talked about the idea of marriage one day, which I did not put in my intent, so this is of his own volition, not the spell.
That's all I can think of to talk about, now. If anyone has any questions for me, please feel free to leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I am able. Quite busy lately, since I just moved house with my boyfriend to get our own place and I have a new job, now. All very exciting, but that also means I'm not on as much as I am used to. Should change, once I'm settled into my new home and am used to things at work, so I hope you can be patient with me until then.
I love you all and blessed be. )O(
