#171 - Intelligence Booster Potion (Home Herb Addition)

This potion is an Intelligence booster.
It is meant to give you a boost when you feel you just can't figure out that answer!
Use sparingly, as an overdose can result in severe headaches and stomach cramps.
You may need:

  • 2 strawberries
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • Water
  • Unrefined quartz
  • Bottle/Jar
  • Bowl

    You may need:

  • 2 strawberries

    Mash the strawberries over the bowl until they have been entirely crushed and there is juice in the bowl.

    Add water until the bowl is around halfway full.

    Add the Thyme, Cinnamon and Honey.

    Stir until the honey has disappeared.

    Add 2 thoroughly washed quartz stones

    Let it soak for 1-2 hours

    Strain over jar until there is no potion left in the bowl

    Optional:
    Bless this potion by adding 1 teaspoon of holy water and leaving outside under the moon for a night.

    #172 - Apple and Athame

    you'll need a sharp knife for this, though it doesn't strictly have to be a unique ritual blade. Just use a clean, good quality, sharp knife.
    You may need:

  • An athame (see above)

    Use the athame to gently carved a pentacle into the skin of the apple, and press the cloves into each one of the points. Hold the apple in your hand and face north (use a compass if you have to). Repeat the following:

    By the powers that be,
    Bring new wealth to me.
    In this apple, find the power
    Add abundance from this hour.

    Set the apple back down so the pentacle is facing you. Repeat the words again, and drive the knife into the apple. Try to embed it in the top so the apple stay upright when you let go of the blade. Let it sit like that, with the knife sticking out, until the end of the day. Then remove the knife and eat the apple (you can take out the cloves).

    his is a very easy witchcraft spell to help bring a little extra money into your life. You don't really need much for supplies, except a dollar bill and some ground cinnamon. You can use any type of paper money, not specifically a dollar. No coins though.

    On a Thursday, rub a little cinnamon powder on your finger tip and make 5 separate smudges on your money. Tuck the bill into your purse or wallet where you normally keep money, and leave it there to attract new wealth. That's it.

    #174 - Success For Permit/Driving Test

    This is a spell for all the baby witches who need some help passing their permit/driving test.
    You may need:

  • -1 yellow candle for intelligence, memory, & learning
  • -vanilla incense for memory or alternatively patchouli for success
  • -an agate crystal for intelligence, clarity, confidence, & energy (optional)
  • -basil for steadying the mind
  • -honeysuckle for success
  • -cinnamon for luck, success, & prosperity
  • -screw or wooden cuticle stick (optional)

    You may need:

  • -1 yellow candle for intelligence, memory, & learning

    I used the cuticle stick to make 3 holes in the candle and filled them with the basil and honeysuckle, then sprinkled the cinnamon on top. This is completely optional, alternatively you could just burn the herbs yourself during the rite. I just feel like this is a much cleaner and safer way to burn herbs. I usually do this a day or two before the actual spell and leave the candle & crystal in the windowsill to be cleansed by the sun. Again, totally optional. This is just my personal way of doing things and every witch's path is different!

    On the night before your test, cast your circle and meditate with the candle and crystal. Infuse them with your personal power and visualize yourself scoring well and passing your test. When you feel that you are in the right mind state and that your candle and crystal are charged, say the following words:

    ''I will score well on this permit/driving exam.
    To do so, I will give it all that I am.
    Passing will bring about so much change
    And opportunities not currently in my range.
    I will remember the rules of the road,
    As I have done my best to memorize the code.
    If this is what I do,
    Then soon I will be able to
    Go wherever, whenever.
    All I have to do is be clever!
    I will do my best
    And pass this test.
    This is my will, & harm none, so mote it be.''

    Let the candle burn until it's halfway gone, then in the morning, let it burn until it's done. I hope this helps!

    Learn to see the Demon in yourself, and if you get good at it no mirror is need to see peoples demons but not your own.

    In the shadow of the earth(night) get to small room, or a very big room no in between. Have a mirror in front of you. Turn all lights off and get used to the darkness. Best to do it late night so you are tired. Pay attention to the colors in the dark, you need to at least have the third eye halfway open to get the energys in your control. For more instruction on that look for Colors Of Power. Collect Blue; the color of knowledge. Look deeply and closely at the mirror and look for your reflection. Then turn on the blue light source. Blink deeply and look for an image made of blue over your reflection. Meditate staring at the mirror and see what your dark side is. Try not to freak out, it will look at you. But it can't do nothing to you. But through you, at this point your only looking at it not embracing. Please do contact me to tell me what it looked like. I have begun a study to find out what the characteristics of them are and the variety that exsists. Mine was a skeleton. Fell back freaked out at first. Calm is alwas the right way.

    Please end this suspense which I hate and abhor.
    Let my life flow once more.
    I wish to end this strife.
    Please let me have an eventful life.

    Throw in the rock and watch as your reflection dissolves then re solidifies.
    You will be given an exciting opportunity in the future but it is up to you to realise it.

    An herbal sachet to attract prosperity, wealth, luck, and success.
    You may need:

  • -small green, gold, or white bag and a ribbon of one of those 3 colors
  • -sewing supplies if you're intending on making the bag yourself

    You can find a small bag at your local dollar or crafts store in the baby shower/wedding section. I personally found a pack of palm-sized green bags for $1 at Dollar Tree that were perfect. However, you can also just buy a piece of cloth and some ribbon if you have/want to make your own.

    I planned this around the new moon on July 23, as it was on a Sunday (the Sun's day), and the Sun and Moon are both in Leo (my star sign), and it's a day before my birthday. So I added some Rosemary to the sachet because of its Leo and Sun representation. I also added some green aventurine beads. These 2 additives are completely optional.

    I then added the rest of the herbs and the coin and tied it in 3 knots. Say:

    ''By Sun in Leo, my prosperity shall increase.
    By New Moon in Leo, success will my magick now release.''

    Meditate with the sachet and infuse it with your personal power. Visualize happiness, success, and wealth coming to you, building positive thoughts and feelings to put the Law of Attraction in motion for you. When you feel the bag start to grow warm, say:

    ''I compel these magickal herbs of prosperity and power
    To assist me me with my spellwork in this hour.
    Pair your natural magick gently with mine,
    So that wealth and success may come to me at all times.
    By the enchantment of herbs, this spell has been spun.
    This is my will, so mote it be, and harm none.''

    Keep this sachet on you for a month, then return the herbs to nature and hand wash the bag and let it air dry.

    This was inspired by an herbal sachet from the book Practical Prosperity Magick and I made it my own. It's a very wonderful, informative book :) Blessed be!

    #178 - Witches Black Salt

    Black salt is a spell enhancer and great for protection satchel spells, cleansing magick tools, and keeping stones and tailsmans free from negative or unwanted energy
    You may need:

    Keep a bowl of salt on your altar, every time you preform a sage brush or use sage for any reason, snuff the sage in the salt and swirl around. Over time the ash will turn the salt black or a grey color. If you have sage ash on hand as well as salt; simply mix 2 parts salt to 1 part ash. When making black salt you can use various ash as well to make the salt however using cinnamon ash as opposed to sage ash will give the salt very different properties for cleaning.

    A simple spell to spread happiness and good will in your area with the help of animals! (Specifically birds)
    You may need:

  • Bird Seeds (That are safe to eat by birds in your area. Do your research!)
  • A small pouch
  • A larger pouch (alt. a large jar)
  • Anything that you have lying around that has positive correspondences!
  • A Few Examples:
  • River Stones
  • Vial of Moon Water
  • Quartz
  • Turquoise
  • Cinnamon, etc.

    You may need:

  • Bird Seeds (That are safe to eat by birds in your area. Do your research!)

    Take your birds seeds and pour some in the small pouch. Take the larger pouch (or jar) and fill it with all the happy items you can fit in it, then insert the smaller pouch into the larger one and leave it for a day to soak up all those energies.

    After a day, remove the smaller bird pouch from the jar/larger pouch and go out to feed some birds (ideally on a bright, clear day). It's recommended you remind yourself of your intent and project it onto the seeds as you feed the birds. And voila! You're done!

    Remember to help out your community after to help strengthen the spell.

    This only goes for the following: -getting a job

  • 1 tea bag(any kind works fine)

    1. Pour water into a pan/kettle.
    2. Put the pan/kettle over the fire until it starts to simmer.
    3. Add in the ginger and nutmeg, along with the orange peels. let it boil for 2 minutes.
    4. As those 2 minutes are passing, ready your cup by placing the pentagram under the cup, and placing the teabag inside the cup.
    5. take the pan/kettle off the heat and pour the orange-brown liquid into the cup. add in the sugar, and stir.
    6. Before drinking, make a wish.
