Then blow the candle out. You should do this where the god or goddess power is the strongest.
You calm down (unless your casting on youself)
and say:

May make the person you are chanting to calm down will just get more worried/mad/whatever

Go into the ocean on the evening of a black moon ( not when the sharks are out) and recite the following words when you feel ready.

Decorate your altar with the images, amber and metal. You can inscribe runes from the Set of Freya (appropriate to your wish), on the candles.
