Bells

Bells are often used traditionally to call passed friends and relatives into a space.

Crucifix

Used for protection of space and person. Held or mounted to walls.

Holy Water

Used for personal and space protection. In rare cases for exorcism.

Palms (reeds) 

Hung above a door for protection. Entrances of the front are often found to have palms.

Hand Mirror

In family tradition a hand mirror is used for scrying.

Types of workings

Finger's crossed luck workings, utilizing finger's crossed figure candles.

Saint or Christ devotionals.

Ancestor work and veneration. 

Cleansings. 

Other items

Saint Benedict medals.

Rosary beads. 

Saint candles, jars.

There are certain plants associated with ancestry. My grandmother was particularly fond of rose. 

Another scent held in esteem is French lavender.
