So last night I had a bit of a bad dream, then progressively worse dreams until I had one of my worst nightmares ever. I woke up and felt like I wouldn't sleep for the rest of the night. I'm pretty sure someone cast the 'Send a Nightmare' Spell on me listed under Revenge Spells.

Anyway a couple of hours later I was pretty tired so I lay in bed with the light on and closed my eyes. I was under attack again but I'd been pretty confident I could use my lucid dreaming ability to counter it, and so it proved. It was relatively easy to remember that someone had given me nightmares and to counter them from within the dreams.

Anyway I made up my mind half awake/half dreaming that I would get out my Ebony wand and try and send the Spell back to caster. But in the end this ended up happening in the dream, I know that sounds weird but I was lucid dreaming so I was myself, and intent was there.

So I found the wand (in the dream) in my sleeve, I could feel the notches of the spiral part as I pulled it out. I said something along the lines of:

'Unknown person whoever you may be
Who cast this Spell on me
I return the Spell to you times three
So mote it be'

It felt like my Spell had worked, and then I found - difficult to describe - it's like a little plastic thing with coloured liquid and bubbles trapped inside that you can play with to ease stress. I realized what it was and turned it upside down to see the colours sink the other way. They all sank back down very quickly and it made me think of a period of a day, so I think the plastic thing was like an hourglass telling me the Spell would happen within a day.

I'm still a beginner and this really feels like the first real Spell I've cast so I think I've started making progress!
