Hello I am Jadin also known as Zalkari on this site and today I will give a lesson on the Basics or Fundamentals of Research.

Step 1

Get what you wish to know, for example:

I want to know what would be helpful with reducing nightmare.

Step 2

Go to the search bar or a search engine or even type it in the URL bar at the top of the browser.

Type: Nightmare prevention technique s

Something less wordy? Type: Stop nightmares.

Step 3

Click on any of the links given. Usually .org is pretty reliable, but some .com sites are legitimate.

Let's try this link:http://m.kidshealth.org/teen/expert/sleep/expert_nightmares.html

Alright a Medical Doctor replied to this. There is even a link to whom she is.

Now let's do an essential step to verify.

Cross Referencing. Meaning check other sites to see of the information matches up.

Look at this link: http://io9.com/5952296/the-science-of-nightmares-++-and-how-to-stop-them

The information on both adds up. They match. So this is how you cross-reference.

Step 4

Pat yourself on the back. You have successfully researched techniques to stop nightmares. You also have learned what a nightmare is.

There's other sources than just the web. There's books. Encyclopedias. Doctors.

Thanks for reading. Oh you must read a lot ;)
