Imagine that you are covered by a small dome or force field and that its unbreakable that nothing in the world can destroy it also imagine that you have full trust in this sheild for example you could fall off a 100 ft building and it wouldn't hurt. Then imagine that its non stick becuase if you make it sticky people can connect to it and drain all your magickar power so that you wont have the energy to cast spells
