Yesterday evening, I was out sweeping the parking lot, and there strolling up to my door, was a little box turtle. I carried him across to the hedge( a long distance, specially for a little turtle.) and set him down. A short time later, there it was again, walking at a fast clip to my door. This was repeated six times. Each time, it returned not to any of the other ten doors that faced the lot, but to MY door. The last time, I just waited to see what he'd do next. When he got to my door, he stopped sat there, surronded by cats, totally unafraid. When I opened the door, he walked in, went to the catfood and started eating. I can't believe this! The cats I can understand, but a Turtle? Looks like I have a new houseguest.
