I find it to be very distressing the amount of folk on this site that wish to become Vampires, Demons, Mermaids, Lycanthropes, Angels, Faeries, etc. on this site.
What was even more distressing on how those whom are otherkin have been prejuidicing people whom have no wish to be.
An Example of that is in a new coven titled: Deep Arts, in which one of the rules says something to the extent of: Humans are not welcome here.
This is madness, for there is one simple fact that many seem to miss.
We are all born in human form, and as such we are human, and we have our humanity to consider.
Astral beings do not feel or think the way we do, they do not have the advantage of a full and balanced emotional and physical spectrum that humanity has.
Us humans (As stated in many Holy books), are created in the image of the divine, and as such we are full of the immanence and transcendence of the divine.
As humans (in a way) we are Gods ourselves, and none seem to appreciate this little notion. Many believe humans are weak, and as such are not worthy of attention.
I find that thoughtform flawed.
We, as humans, are Physical, we are etheric, We are Astral, We are emotional, we are mental, we are psychic, and we are (most importantly) divine!
Our spirits are unique unto our kind, as we are triune, composed of the mind, the body, and the spirit. And these three in unity lead to greater power than any vampire.
It is us as humans that empowered the Demi-Gods to divine stature, we create technologies that surpass the astral realms ones, we love fully, we feel and think on a full spectrum, which in turn can power our magick beyond any being, even a God's if one is strong enough.
Dont give up on your own nature! Celebrate within in, grow within your humanity, and with the earth, and the mind, and most importantly, your own divinity!
It is our right, and i do not believe that it should be thrown away for want of a power that seems stronger.
