For a while now, I've known my house has some sort of spirits living in it. I have no clue if these are thoughtforms, spirits, or what. I've tried smudging, praying, even spellwork to purify the area but whatever it is, it's stubborn. Even my patron can only seem to hold them at bay for a short time, and that's Brigid, warrior goddess of the home.

I watched Spiderwick on Netflix (this isn't going to get fluffy, I promise) and when I was watching it, I felt this ease. I usually feel tense as heck at night because that's when I'm more aware of something in my house that might not like me, which would make sense given that I've tried nearly everything to kick it out.

So, is it possible I have fairies or elves living in my house and that's why they're so stubborn to leave? I'm home alone for a week with just my dog to keep me company and I'm scared of something jumping out of the shadows, and trust me, it's happened to a terrifyingly annoying degree. These spirits have driven me insane for years and I am at a point where I either want them out or to make peace with them so they'll leave me alone.
