Well a year ago, when I had first decided to go the path of paganism. (Yes, I am fer much a newborn.) I wonders across a beautiful willow tree that seemed to have been struck by lightning in a local park. I way before have had many dreams of willows so decided to meditate under it. I became extreamly starched to the fairly strong spirit I saw in the tree. I went back yesterday and found it cut down, the trunk seemed freshly cut, when I checked the roots they were still alive. Once I set my greaf aside, imeditated. I heard from her to look around for the garnet I left to her as a gift on Yule. One of the friends I was with found it. She told me to place it under one of her stronger roots. I did, some of her essence I suppose will transfer through it. I am supposed to return tomorrow to retrieve it. Is this right, Is it ok. I am desperate to keep a piece of the woman who helped me through many internal struggles. I remember feeling her cry once when it was very bad. And if I does work and I keep the stone how do I protect it. Any advice will help.
