I had a dream that a big, black dog is trying to attack me - it's in front of a door that I'm trying to close but I can't, they break, they stay a bit open. I'm angry at my father because he's in the room and not even trying to help. He's behind some chairs so I can't really see him,i walk up to him and then I see that a dog already chewed up one of his legs so he can't really help. And as I look at him I remember my mother's leg was also chewed up by a dog - it wasn't really, it's just a memory I got in the dream. Then the dog pushes the door and comes in, it's big black and angry. Then I start to lose conciousness and the next scene I see is that same dog lying in a dog basket snuggling with a cat, and my father gives me meat to give to the dog. So I do but it can barely move, it has trouble even picking up the food. Then I wake up.

It was a really scary, upsetting dream and I'm not sure what can it mean. Any help? :)
