As a Romanian,I feel like it's my duty to clarify a few things.
So many people on this site asked me to turn them into vampires or claim to be vampires, there is no such thing.

Vlad Dracul(which means Vlad the Devil)ruled a region in Romania and he was as cruel as a person could get, since he would impale servants for simply daring to look into his eyes.

After his violent death, villagers were still afraid of Vlad as they though that he would come back to haunt them under a supernatural form.
Many bodies, after their death undergo changes,as you well know, and fluids such as blood surface on the dead person's mouth.

Now we have a tradition that goes like this:if the person who died murdered people or committed suicide then it's bound to transform into a varcolac(werewolf) or vampir(vampire),so the next night, they gather around the grave, unburry the corpse and burn its heart to prevent it from transforming. This whole mad ritual started because people still don't know that blood may come out of the corpse's mouth and the nails and hair keep growing a few months after the death.

Now Dracula is our ruler(one and the same person),but known under this name, because the Irish Bram Stoker decided to turn this murderer into a fictional character, because he found out about our tradition,he heard some stories from the villagers claiming to have seen the corpses with spots of blood on their faces and so on.

That's it,guys,there's no Dracula,it's just a novel,there are no sanguinarian vampires.
