We are rising from the dead like it's Easter Sunday! Christian Wiccans is officially up and running and we are eagerly looking for council and active members! You do not necessarily have to be Christian, or belong to any of the major Abrahamic religions. We are a Bible-centered spiritual community, but we are open to all!

Christian Wiccans: Who Are We? What do we believe?

The majority of us are Christian Witches , although this means something different for each individual. Typically, the core beliefs held by Christian Witches are:

  1. Some denomination of Christian (Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Nondenominational, etc.)
  2. Witchcraft is an extensionof prayer

If you identify as a Christian Witch, this is the place for you. Even if you don't, we are a family full of welcoming people.

What do we do?

We focus on a variety of magick. This includes, but is by no means limited to:

  • Prayer Magic
  • Mediumship
  • Divination
  • Necromancy
  • Angelic Magic
  • Ceremonial Magic

Much of the magic practiced here can be found in the Bible.

You can't be a Christian Witch; There is no such thing

While it is true that divination, mediumship, and witchcraft are forbidden according to Deuteronomy, Exodus, and Leviticus, St. Paul's letters to the Corinthians and Romans contradict this. As with many teachings of the Torah and Tanakh, Jesus and his apostles overwrote this common misconception with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have published an article for further reading if you are interested, but they are as follows from 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, 6-8; Romans 12:6-8:

  1. Word of Wisdom
  2. Word of Knowledge
  3. Faith
  4. Gifts of Healing
  5. Workings of Miracles
  6. Prophecy
  7. Discernment of Spirits
  8. Speaking of Tongues
  9. Interpretation of Tongues
  10. Service
  11. Teaching
  12. Exhortation
  13. Giving
  14. Leadership
  15. Mercy

In short, we as Christian Witches believe we, like every person in the world, has been blessed by the Holy Spirit with one or more of these gifts. While we appreciate Christians praying for our immortal souls and Wiccans' steadfastness in preserving their traditions, rest assured our path is as unique as any other and our Craft is our own.

If you are interested in joining our family, we are accepting applications!
