Thought it'd be cool to start a forum about saints, since they're kinda our version of a pantheon of "gods" (not that they are gods, more like spirit guides)

So I was wondering, were there any saints you were particularly close to? I was brought up Roman Catholic and I was confirmed (against my will, mind you) which is a ceremony for the complete membership of the Catholic Church. Typically, you choose a saint that you identify with and that becomes your patron saint, or something like that.

I first chose Saint Lucy, the patron of girls, bad eyesight, and poetry, being on a time crunch and not wanting to do it in the first place. Later I chose St. Brigid, who was a pagan goddess and helps me bridge paganism and christianity.
