North America consists of Canada and the United Sates. The United States is a country of independent states. Central America, also called Latin America, is Mexico, descended from Spain in Europe. Spanish is the national language, although Spanish is also called Latino - Latino American. This is not to be confused with Italian, which is different. South America consists of independent countries such as Brazil and Columbia. The North Pole is located above Canada, but is a neutral region.
