Am I a witch?

Am I a witch ?

I once bought a black candle and i lighted the candle at midnight wished for someone to die and that person died of suicide shortly after

My sister has a small mole above her eyebrow she visited me in my house years ago and i jokingly told her it seems as if your mole is getting larger she very angry replied to me with the words: So what i have a mole there

now her youngest daughter was born with a large strawberry spot on her forhead at the same side as where my sister has her mole

i thought maybe i accidentally cursed my sister and her child now?

Not realizing at the time this would ever happen lol

A witch is not some special kind of creature. Witchcraft is simply a title to describe a kind of magical practice. If you practice witchcraft, you might choose to call yourself a witch. It's as simple as that.

Merry Meet,

If that is all, I would say no.

The candle, I do not know what you did, but lighting a black candle does not mean you are cursing someone. Black candles can be used in purification and protections. If you focused all of your hatred on that person, imagined them dying, and perhaps verbalized how you wanted them dead, then I would say you hexed them. But I would not say you killed them. At best, the negative energy you sent to them was the thing that broke an already broken person. Not the main reason, but maybe the last.

As for your sister, I would blame genetics. Words have meaning, but if you were teasing her and not putting any intention into those words, there is no reason it would curse her child. Nor would it wait years to activate a curse you did not even consider.

If you are interested in becoming a witch, you can, but an occasional spell or coincidence does not a witch make. To be a witch means you study and practice witchcraft fairly regularly. One candle, wearing black, enjoying Practical Magic, collecting crystals, loving Halloween, or owning a cat does not make you a witch. You might enjoy the witch esthetic, which is fine, but you are not a witch. Feeling the energy around us, understanding the natural cycles, celebrating nature, living in balance, these things make you a witch because it is part of witchcraft. Spells and rituals are part of it, but not every witch does them. Same with deity worship or divination. Some do, some do not. Research and build your own craft if... Provided you are not taking from closed practices.

Blessed Be.

Merry Meet,

Your father is correct. Magik influences what is already there. It would take a lot more energy and effort to make a person fall in love with you if they are repulsed by you, rather than someone who is already a friend, or even has a crush on you. This person already had suicidal ideation and while I do not believe you are the cause, you could have sent energy to influence them. This is why you should keep your thoughts and words in good order. Everyone has bad days. You do not have to like everyone. But everyone is a human worthy of basic humanity. I do not know this person or your interactions with them, but in most cases, cutting the energetic ties with a person and blocking them is better. Not always, but most of the time. At the very least, it would be less on your conscience. As the saying goes, be careful what you wished for, you just might get it.

Blessed Be.
