Sunday's Coven Topic #1
By: / Novice
Hey everyone! I decided to make a thread series for the coven!

The idea is that every Sunday, someone will make Coven Topic thread where we discuss our practices. If you are interested in posting next Sunday, please be the first to call out that you want to when you make your comment :) Each topic will be its own thread so that this one thread doesn't get cluttered.

Sunday's Coven Topic #1:

How do you view Jesus? What Christian Witch path do you follow? What aspects of the Christianity do you believe in? How do you incorporate your practice into your daily life?

I look forward to hearing from you :)

When I was younger, I use to be extremely dedicated in my faith to Jesus & God. My life was so good and I was happy. I went to church every Sunday. My downfall was when I moved back in with my grandparents at the end of 5th grade. I stopped going to church and I eventually found places like Spells of Magic about 10 years ago. It really opened my perception of the world around me and really made me question my faith. Life on other planets, what is real & is not real, the devil, etc. What was true and what was not true became so confusing. I drifted away and was always trying to find a spiritual deity. Though, Jesus still kept a spot in the back of my mind.

Even to this day, I struggle with my faith and where it stands. I do believe in Jesus and truly believe he is someone who actually existed on this Earth. My struggle is with knowing God which has made it difficult to have my faith in Jesus because of what I grew up believing as a child. I don't believe in Hell or the devil, but I still remain fearful that they might exist & I could go there.

The biggest aspect of Christianity I believe in are the New Testament. I think it offers more love and compassion. I also think the New Testament is more open-minded especially since Jesus died for our sins.

I am still figuring out how to incorporate a practice into my daily life.
