It depends on the community and person. I work with someone who uses both generations of their chinese and their alaska tribe. There are several groups of different alaska native heritages.

Haida

Learning the language and perhaps taking classes on the mythos may help you learn more if interested. I live with the Tlingit and Haida clans are common in the area of Alaska I live in.

Athabascans interest me
