Writers Block
By:

Greetings,

I'm not entirely sure if this is the place to discuss this but alas here I am. I'm currently sitting in a writers block despite my want to write my stories, I've done some research and just wandering if their are any simple chants or spells for overcoming my predicament.

Anything is greatly welcomed, thanks.

Start writing "I have writers block. I don't know what to write. I want to write." over and over until something else comes to mind, write that and keep going.

Would that be via paper or computer (since that is what I'm using to write?)

Citrine can be helpful as well. I kept some citrine crystals on my desk when I was writing my thesis. Also, Fluorite can help improve communication.

Poets and other writers would classically ask a muse for inspiration. A muse is a spirit in classical greek folklore known to bestow inspiration upon those working in the expressive arts.

Also try Googlingwriting prompts. You might find some out there that can give you some inspiration.

Usually gemstones for inspiration are good for this situation. If you cannot buy one of them, then just see some pictures or videos about them and visualize like you have them.

You may also call entities or especially angels for inspiration.

I am a published writer of fictional novels. (currently 17 published but over 30 written) I don't generally fall into this sort of barrier because I take breaks. I understand each writer is different but I tend to get a concept for a story, either a full novel or series, and start writing until I can't anymore or I am struggling to form the scenes. When this happens I stop writing, for days or weeks, sometimes even months until I get back on the "kick".

Find the pattern that works for you. Herbs help a lot, especially teas or other seeping brews. Make sure you are also well rested. Your brain won't allow much creativity if you are exhausted. If you can't seem to sit and write but you are worried about losing your concepts for a story, create a story board notebook. I often will jot down the plot or at least the concept or ending so that I can go back and develop the arch correctly and ensure I have added the means of reaching the climax of the story where it will make sense to the reader.

I have also been writing my stories since I was 16 and I am now 40, so much of my writing has been over several years of development. You will find a pattern that works and know when to rest.

Good luck, hopefully you will get back on the "kick" and the writing will take off!
