Bolding and underlining

How can I bold and underline text in my profile or on an article?

There should be a list of options under the heading "Website Config" when you edit your profile. The top option among these is to enable HTML or Text as your method of posting. This will enable an editing bar to allow marking text for bolding, underlining, as well as for bulleting lists and making quoted blocks.
