Black is generally considered to be appropriate.

Many people choose to use red bags for all workings, but if you are wanting a specific colour, as Lark has said, black is a good option.

I know this is off topic but I made a voodoo love spell which included a doll, semen, hair, rose oil a purple candle, coffee and a red candle. Once everthing was done I placed the red candle in my window so the moon could attract the light. The flame became very high immediately and danced flickered, crackled. I was quite happy it gave it white and black smoke designs than the actual candle wax lit on fire! The whole candle went up in flames than the candle split down the middle and both sides of the candle where in fire, making a cross or a T. My name starts with T so I guess that is good, it took a whole hour for the candle to burn out and the wax fell onto my windowsill in. A pool of red wax, than once the candle was gone the actual candle holder light on fire and just recently burned out. What does that mean,
