Growing up Discussion.

Up for a discussion?

Can anyone relate? Ever since I was a young girl ( around 9 or 10 years of age), I have had a fascination with the human mind. I used to run around when it was bed time and grab my mother's textbooks from when she was in college, and read bits and pieces of it until she got me to go to bed.

That helped me become who I am now. My question is, has one weird thing that happened to you or caught your interest when you where young impacted your knowledge on a subject, or created a passion?

I took upon science as an interest in general, but my knowledge in such is lean more towards medicine. I have always been open-minded with the world around me. Science may not be able to explain everything, but I believe everything does follow some form of science. Even with the basic understanding of magic, rules of physics are involved. I wasn't interested in magic at first when I was very young until a phenomenal even occurred that made me realize science has yet to explain everything. Perhaps it will, perhaps not, but I learn to take everything with a grain of salt and continue my research to first determine facts vs. opinions, reality vs. mirage, truth vs. false. There are certain things that are debatable, but to each their own.

I was completely in love with Avatar: The Last Airbender,Ghost Hunters, and Ghost Whisperer growing up. I could quote every episode ver batim and I used to go ghost hunting with my siblings in our old, unfinished basement. So you can imagine my excitement when I found this website and saw that elemental magick and divination was a thing.

Of course, now I'm much older with more knowledge and experience, and a different outlook on magick, soall of those things are nostalgia at this point. But it's still nice to look back on all of it from time to time.
