Toothpaste mask

This helps with acne, does not get rid of it alone.

needed:

toothpaste

hot water and rag

30 minutes of your time

first take the rag and have it in hot water, then do a quick rinse. Use mint tooth paste and apply it on the acne areas.

leave it on for a half an hour. You will look goofy.

rinse with the hot water and rag.

you can do this as much as you like to fight acne but wont get rid of it alone. This is a trick I use to keep my skin clear.

Toothpaste can cause acne to become infected. If you are looking for an actual herbal remedy for acne, I would suggest applying fuller's earth that has been mixed with warm water to make a paste. Let sit for 10-15 minutes and wash off with hot water.

This may not work for everyone and could potentially make acne even more aggressive. Toothpaste is meant for your teeth not your skin.

Some people swear by this technique, and if it works for you that's great . But if you have sensitive skin I don't recommend this.

I have suffered from acne in the past and if it's a constant struggle for you I'd recommend treating any underlying causes first, things like diet and hormone imbalance. Also good have an proper skincare regimen. sadly a lot of products geared towards acne are really bad in my experience, all the added dyes and fragrances irritated my skin even more. It's a good idea to look at labels before buying a product.

You can always go to the dermatologist if necessary too.
