Anti-anxitey?

Hey I have a question about an anti-anxiety spell. One of my teammates (in martial arts) is having anxiety. She normally has severe anxiety the night before a match of any sort. I am writing a couple different methods that have worked for me in the past, and a new one. This one includes herbs, is mint good for something like this? If not is there any suggestions for an herb?

It sounds as if she ought to be focusing more on the internal aspects of martial arts and less on the external.

I think it's the anxiety of winning the match? I would have to ask her.

Your teammate's anxiety the night before a match may only be their subconscious way ofpreparation for the acute physical and mental precision needed the following day, during the match. It may be their automatic mechanism to acknowledge and clear out any self doubt about their abilities. If it gets debilitating for them, then maybe rather than temporary measures such as using herbs in order to reduce it, they can learn more permanent methods to deal with it, and other future situations they may find themselves in, which produce those same overpowering sensations. For example, the use of calming breathing exercises or meditation might alleviate the worst part of it. After all, as another member has mentioned, it is as much a mental sport as it is a physical one. And one, I believe, that should develop both internally as well as externally.

I agree with others that meditation may be a good bet. I also like using lavender and vanilla for relaxing as far as herbal things go. Make sure you ask her if it's alright to do any spell work for her if that's something you're planning.

She did a energy calming meditation last night before bed, and has said it helped. Our overall match will start at 10:30 am our time - 1:50 pm. She goes on first, i am on three turns after her. Wish us luck! thank you for your support and advice!
