Chakra Meditation
To begin:

Chakras are energy centers within the body, they are located along the spine. There are nine total chakras & each one is associated with a color; Soul Star (silver), Crown (purple), Third Eye (dark blue), Throat (light blue), Heart (green), Solar Plexus (yellow), Sacral (orange), Root (red) and Earth Star (black).

It is important to have balanced, clear chakras because they effect the way we live. When chakras are unbalanced, we More likely to feel apathetic, uninspired and even physically sick. There is still much to learn about chakras and the effect they have on our daily lives.

I find that the best chakra meditations are done with crystals. I begin with cleansing my crystals. Crystals pick up the energies that are surrounding them, so you want to make sure they do not have any negative energy attaches to them before you work with them.

A good starter crystal kit for chakra meditation may include:

Selenite-Soul Star
Lapis Lazuli-Third Eye
Blue Lace Agate- Throat
Green Aventurine- Heart
Tiger’s Eye- Solar Plexus
Carnelian- Sacral
Red Jasper- Root
Black Tourmaline- Earth Star

There are MANY wonderful crystals out there to work with, find the ones that suit you best!!

Begin by laying down flat on your back, have your cleansed crystals handy and easy to grab. Close your eyes for a moment and steady your breathing. Place each crystal on the appropriate point of your body that it is associated with (for example, place Amethyst on your forehead.) Once each crystal has been placed, begin imagining a white warm light entering up through your body- illuminating each chakra. Picture that light coursing through your veins from the top of your head to your toes. Breathe deeply and focus on this. You may feel your body begin to tingle, that is completely normal, my eyes even tear up. I personally feel a lot of peace once I am finished. Try this meditation at least 1-2 times weekly.
