Being visited by animals
By:
Hello! I am new to the site, I have joined for some guidance and to learn and grow.

Lately I am being visited regularly by wild animals, during my daily chores. Not always the same animal but they come/ sit very close. Today I had to rescue a jackdaw who had come into my house. I held him for a while, he was very calm. Then released him back into the wilderness. Is this some kind of sign or connection that something or someone wants me to know?

The animals have been, birds mainly jackdaws and crows. Deer and a rabbit.

Any thoughts gratefully received!

I supposed it deepens on where you live, and if you feel drawn to the animal. I've found personally, if you were to welcome a animal around you're home, like not scaring it off, than the animal will remember you and become friendly towards you. Just seeing a animal on a day to day basis, doesn't mean it's always a sign. I have sparrows that sit on the fence, watching me do the dishes, almost every day, I have a magpie that likes to sit near my shoulder in the spring, and a will wag tail, who loves to dance around me. If I were to see these animals as some sort of sign, every time they come near me, than I'm either not listening, or my head would be spinning.

If you're someone like me, who have a lot of trees, and gardens around your home, and water for he birds, than animals will flock towards you regardless if their a sign from the universe. If you mean a animal no harm, and you sit and watch them long enough, they will pick it up and walk towards you with curiosity in their eyes. If your still here reading of this, and you believe that it's a sign. You need to ask yourself. Have you been asking questions later, and calling for guidance, are you drawn to the animal, like you feel a strong sense of connection that this is the answer to your problems? It also works differently, for different types of people. So maybe sit still, for a while and meditate on the issues.

And another thing you need to be mindful about. Jackdaw behaviour depends on the setting, a forest jackdaw is more likely to be weary of you, and a urban one is more likely to be friendly towards you. Like I said, if you mean the bird no harm than its going to be walking towards up you, tilled its head. You can always just feel blessed, that the animal allowed you to pick it up. Rabbit are similar. You got grass near by, or some sort of food, no cat or dog, than you be their best friend. Deers are also adapted, if you live near woods than they might be around, but they are also social, and can tolerate humans present. Down below, are animals meaning to help guide you.

If you had save a jackdaw. Than don't be surprised if the bird comes back again, my father and I had saved a magpie. Which is the same one, who now comes and sings close to my shoulder every spring, the Jackdaw is more likely to visit you after a year or two.

"In myth, jackdaws are very similar to crows and ravens and with them, they bring heavy warnings. Specific to the jackdaw is that ill times are going to fall on you and because of the stamina of the bird the jackdaw is a symbol of a long-lasting difficulty in your life."

"many cultures, the deer is a symbol of spiritual authority. During a deer's life the antlers fall off and grow again and the animal is also a symbol of regeneration. In the Christian imagination, the deer is a symbol of piety, devotion and of God taking care of his children."

http://www.faena.com/aleph/articles/notes-on-the-symbolism-of-deer/

"The rabbit as well as the hare have been associated with moon deities and may signify rebirth or resurrection. They may also be symbols of fertility or sensuality, and they appear in depictions of hunting and spring scenes in the Labours of the Months."

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbits_and_hares_in_art

If your someone going through a difficult time, than maybe the universe is trying to tell you those times are coming near the end. All you need to do, is speak your mind, and stand up for yourself. All while knowing you will come out of the trouble water, and be rebirth into someone much stronger, than before. If you have been feeling disconnect, than know the universe still loves you and haven't forgotten about you. You just need to voice, your wants and needs.

"It is usually believed that the crow is a symbol of bad luck and death, but it is not always the case. As we have already said, a crow may be a symbol of life magic and mysteries. It also symbolisesintelligence, flexibility and destiny."

If your seeing crow, and new to this site, than it could be encouragement that you are on the right path, and the universe is sending you love, and support on your new path to help your soul grow.

Thank you for your thoughts.

I do feel some connection to these encounters as they have come out of the blue and so frequently lately.

I do feel they are sending me a message, I just have to be open to receive it!
