Please help!

I want to create a Good Luck Charm for myself and a Bad Luck Charm for someone else, but I do not have a candle. I do have a ThinkGeek Minecraft Torch, though. Would that work in place of a candle?

If you believe it will work, it will work.

Personally I think it would work.Electric candles work in place of candles so I believe a toy torch would as well as long as you have atangible candle. Usually real candles are used for the wax, flame, etc. You may use that but you couldn't use it for spells and rituals like an actual candle.

If you feel a connection to it you can work with it. I picked up 'bleeding' candles at Spirit Halloween last year [black and white candles that drip red wax] because I thought they were cool, but I've used them in a few spells for added visual effect or when I needed those specific colours. Whatever helps you connect and personalize a spell.

I used my torch to make a charm, and I think it worked!

do the best you can, with the best you can get, and
if you buy anything, dont argue about the price or try to haggle because
then you are devaluing the tools and emptying it of its magical worth.

I do not have anything any of the spells tell me to have, but I do have a ton of toys. I figure I could use my toys, my cell phone, and my video game equipment as substitutes.
