Path of the Shaman
By: / Beginner

Being a Shaman, Seer, or any sort of practitioner with spirits, souls, and divination requires a lot of time and work, and even then, those three topics don't even begin to cover in what lies within our coven, or our practices in general.

In Path of the Shaman, we cover many topics on what defines a Shaman. In it's basic definition, a Shaman isa person regarded as having access to, and influence in, the world of good and evil spirits, especially among some peoples of northern Europe, Asia and North America. Typically such people enter a trance state during a ritual, and practice divination and healing. However, Shamans can be found through many different cultures, practicing different techniques. Although PotS is a Nordic influenced coven,Path of the Shaman aims to bring all cultures and experiencestogether to discuss, theorize and to continue evolving the culture of Shamanism in general.

So, to scratch the surface of what we cover:

  • Deity and spirit communication
  • Crystals
  • Herbs
  • Pathwalking/Journeying/Astral Projection
  • Stave and Sigil Work

As a diverse group, everyone does their own form of research and spiritual practice. Our goal is to form a group of family and friends from a variety of practices, all seeking a connection. While posting essays, spells, and holding classes are welcomed, they are not required.

Here, we can have a relaxed community based on hospitality and kinship.
