The best spells to attempt, are those that best suit your personal situation, as you have a closer connection to the situation and the potential outcome.

Better still, those that you write yourself and suits your situation.

The most useful spells are ones that have a purpose. Find a goal you would like to achieve first, then develop, find, or otherwise learn about the various ways to do a working that will help you move towards that goal.

As a note, Magic and magic working is as much a studt of philosophy and personal growth as it is about setting will into motion. One often leads into the other and vice-versa.
