Magic Food

Hey I was wondering if anyone has heard of or knows a way of making magic food or drinks or maybe how to enchant them, like say making a tea that allows you to dream walk or giving someone a cookie that’s really a love potion etc etc.

There is a whole path about this called kitchen witchcraft where you make spells into food and what not. If you are new to this I would suggest just researching kitchen witchcraft (a google search should do the trick but there’s probably info about it on this site too!) Like any spell you will not have guaranteed success. You could also just for example bake a cookie with your intention clear in your head, say a little chant over it and when it’s done charge it with energy of your intended purpose. As for the tea, you can easily look up herbs for sleeping or sleep walking ect.

Thank you for the information. what brought up the idea was that i know in faery magik it talk about offering up special foods as offerings in exchange for spell craft, and with potion making and enchanting that a lot of the ingredients are editable. So what if someone was to say make a mugwort and ginger tea with honey while introducing a little enchanting spell making anyone who drinks it recive a very magical experience for example.

Like Freya was saying, kitchen witches tend to incorporate certain magickal properties into their cooking, cleaning, housely duties, you can do things like that for example when you're pouring batter you can make a sigil out of it, or you can put your intents while pouring the drier ingredients like nutmeg or cinnamon.

Or you can do a spell/ritual and later incorporate that into your food, like if you have a seperate and empty bowl, you can surround in rose quartz stones (tumbled, raw, cluster, etc is fine), put rose water, say a little here and there and then add it to your recipe. Wether it's for opening a certain chakra, love, clarity, dreams, you can do a multitude of things when working in the kitchen.

But you don't want to raise your expectations too high, up to the point where you may think that you can recieve out of this world things like certain abilities (snow, fire, etc powers)

And if at first you're not seeing any changes in your life from before to after doing these incorporations then you may want to try doing it in a different way or kind of seeing what went wrong, wether it's not enough energy, too many cloudy thoughts, intent was not set, and use that to further better these things and have higher chances of positive outcomes.

*Sorry for rambling on, I had so many things to say that were in my head that I wanted to say before I forgot it*

But with all that being said, I really hope you use some of the advice given by me, and Freya and other future replies to this discussion.

xx

Some simple examples of Kitchen Witchcraft include: If your baking a tray of brownies you could stir clockwise (this direction is used for drawing or attracting, it's called "deosil" it's thought to mean "the direction of the sun" counterclockwise, also called "widdershins", this is the direction of banishing and waning, it is used to remove or get rid of things) and focus on "pushing" the energies of self love into the brownies as chocolate is associated with love and it also happens to be an offering to Aphrodite. Another example would be if you were making sandwiches you could draw a sigil for health made of mustard on the bread. And maybe say a blessing such as "May this food nourish our bodies and make hungry cease. so mote it be". Anyway, these are just some examples. Hope it helped!
Blessed be!

When I thought about charging my food, with the aim to make it more of nutritious, and so I searched the internet and came over bunch of lunatics that were adding their own blood and body stuffs to their food, and that's best avoided.
What I do is simply to visualize the food absorbing bright light from around it and simply affirm as per the aim.
Also, I sometimes use the Shri Tantra to charge my food, simply place your food over it and it's done.
