Controlling the elements?

What should I do first to control any of the elements?

We cannot control the element in the way many people first believe, or in the ways portrayed in many modern tv shows, films or books.

We can however work with them, call their energies to assist in spells, ritual and other magickal practice but we cannot control them.

Any type of kensis - pyro, hydro ect is purely fiction. We cannot bend the elements like we’re Avatar the last Airbender. But as already mentioned we can work with their energy in our spell and ritual work.
