Time travel/past changing
By:
Hi everybody, I was wondering if anybody had any information on time traveling or past changing spells, or anything else pertaining to the topic? I am not asking if anybody thinks it is possible, I am just asking if anybody has any legitimate knowledge on the topic.

If you don't think it's possible, please don't respond. If you want to tell me to move on or change my perspective of the past, please don't respond, I don't need a therapy session, I just want to ask if anybody knows about this and/or has real experience with it. I want to learn! If I get no replies, so be it. Thank you for sharing if you know anything!

Well as this is an open forum you don't get to tell people how they must respond to your question.

The answer is quite simply that magic or spells will not permit you to travel either forwards or backwards in time. Magic does not defy the physical laws of the Universe, and those laws, particularly one called Entropy, say that time moves in one direction only and that we cannot violate those laws by going backwards or forwards in time. While time travel is theoretically possible, it has never been shown to work by physical nor magical means.

I said PLEASE don't respond, I didn't say "You may not respond because I am the master of everybody!" I was asking if anybody had any knowledge or experience with it, not whether or not it was possible.

And you didn't HAVE to respond at all.

Please follow the site rules and stop with the excessive capitals. Whole words in caps are against the rules.

As Lark said, this is an open forum and anyone can respond to the post as they choose, so long as they follow site rules and stay on topic.

Time travel and past changing spells are not possible. That is like trying to add eggs to cake batter after you have baked it. The past is fixed and it cannot be changed by someone in the present.

I am not aware of any ways to travel back or forwards in time in a literal sense. Being able to move to another time in a way that would allow you to make changes or otherwise leave influence in the past is generally accepted to be outside the realm of physical possibility.

However, I believe there are techniques for exploring the past in a less tangible way. One can potentially look backwards as an observer to witness events or places. Usually it is achieved through a version of astral travel, or by connecting with the energies of a place and looking backwards in a form of object reading. Or, of course, past life exploration can carry with it tidbits of knowledge of the past as well by way of images and memory related to your experiences from life to life.

As usual there is the caveat of the always unsure accuracy due to a combination of practicer skill, experience, internal influences like wishful thinking, and such.

I don't think it's possible but I am going to respond anyway. 'Time travel' in a physical sense is impossible. People have said they were able to access some portions of the past using what is known as memory.

I'm sorry I even asked. I have the right to make a request, I never said anybody could not respond the way they chose to, it's just that every time somebody asks something about time travel, people always respond by saying things like "it's impossible" "change your outlook" "forget the past", that is not the information I was looking for. How do you all know what is possible anyway? Do you have all the knowledge in the world? There is a big world out there I'm sure there is plenty of arcane and guarded knowledge awaiting anybody who works/looks hard enough to discover it.

Have you ever heard the saying "The more you know the more you realize how little you really know"? I know that anything is possible. This is a subject that intrigues me, I just wanted to know if anybody had anything to offer, instead of the usual type of responses to these questions, which I frankly find condescending. I'm sorry I asked.

Has it occurred to you that the reason you keep getting the same answers is that it is the only answer?

Tell me, have you ever met anyone that has traveled back in time? Have you ever heard of or read a scientific journal that discusses the concept as a viable occurrence? I doubt you have. It has been researched by scientists, mystics, occultist, witches and many more for many years. So far all that has come of it is "would be nice, can't do it though."

There are many things that are not possible in this world. They defy the physical aspect of this world. If you are looking for a place to concur with your beliefs, keep looking. I am sure there is a site that will be open to your view.

This site is about the use of magic. There are people here with decades of experience, hundreds if not thousands with real world experience in the use of magic, hundreds with specific training in different orders of magic, and many more who have worked their tails off tracking down information on there own. To say that because we do not believe what you, that we deny the possibility of what you want to be true is condescending shows an unwillingness to learn from those who understand what is possible and what is not.

You are sorry that you asked the question, perhaps that is because deep down, in that part of you that is connected to the universal subconscious you know that what you have asked about is nothing more than the base of a fanatasy books.

As to your statement that the more you learn the more you realize how little you know, I can attest to the truth of this. However to use that statement as a way of disregarding the knowledge that many of us have gained through work, study and practice shows how little you actual do know. It shows a disregard for those who have come before us and those who will come after.

I was just asking a question. I have the right to make a request along with my question, so I can get the type of answers I desire. Time travel is possible. I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about it they could share with me, everybody knows something that nobody else does, even if that something pertains to their own life or thoughts. It's nice to get as much information from as many people as possible. I don't understand why some people even bother giving out the kinds of answers that were specifically stated to be unwanted.

I don't know why people try to turn simple questions into debates/competitions. There are people in magick who know how to time travel. There is also physical time travel using devices, though that is a bit more complex, look up Steven Gibbs and the HDR. I was just hoping somebody could share some new knowledge with me, I wasn't asking for a lesson or trying to start a debate.
