What is that voice?

Right before I went to sleep I heard this voice and my body went numb a little. I have never heard this voice before and it has been on my mind after the day it happened. Also the voice was female and said my name once and after that I fell alsleep. Someone please tell me what you think the voice was to help me calm down a little

I don't think that sound is something significant. Most of the time people have auditory hallucinations when sleepy or stressed. The sound may be from a familiar person or could be a stranger's voice.Their is nothing to get worked upon because it's just your subconcious trying to lull you to sleep.May be you were tired and needed to rest so sometimes your body play healthsafe triggers.Don't get worried auditory hallucinations are very common.

I have had audiotiry hallucinations before and this one was different. I am now starting to remember what was in the dream on that nights. (Also it happened to me again this time but it was a little different.) But in the dream of the first night, I keep hearing Artemis' and Apollo's names in a school like setting. The next night, the dream was a little like the last but there was a female teacher with the same voice that I heard before and a male teacher. And for some reason my mind is telling me it's Artemis and Apollo and the voice was Artemis.

It is possible that this is a case where your Patron deities are trying to introduce themselves to you. You might do some meditating on this to see whether you can make contact with them again and ask whether that is the case here. I'd also suggest doing some reading on them to learn more about them and even perhaps build an altar to them if you can so that you can start to build that relationship with offerings and prayers. A good place to learn more about the Greek Gods is at http://www.theoi.com

you're not the only one, that'a for sure. going into my 20's, i'be heard a man's voice at night that was right next to my ear. on rare occasions I tuned in and could hear him more, but when I tried to focus and tried to remember what he was saying, I tuned out. I had no numb feeling though, so you may want 5o be cautious on that.

Thanks for telling me this. I may try and do a ritual to introduce myself better to them.

It doesn't seem to be anything that you should be worrying about, it could possibly be one of your spirit guides or one of your guardian angels( angel is a label as Buddhists called them Celestial beings) If the voice isn't harming you than you shouldn't worry about it.

Regardless of whether or not the voice was of any significance or just a trick of a tired mind. One thing you can do in the future is grounding and centering. This will aid is expelling unwanted energies absorbed into your aura.
Simply calm your mind and enter a meditative state. Then visualize bright light energy filling you from your toes to the top of your head. Allow it to flow out the top of your head and back down around your body. Breathe deeply and visualize this energy cleaning the space it inhabits. Then condense it into a psy ball and visualize it sinking deep into the earth, as it goes deeper towards the core feel your own connection with the world and fill your mind with peace and feel your being become balanced. Visualize the ball raising back up, clean and pure, and sitting in the center of your chest.
There are other ways to do this, but that's my own method. I'm sure other people have their own way, only a suggestion.
